Welcome to another "Light" Melee combat mod! This one overhaul's V's original animations with new personal renditions/ideas. Focus was towards a form of "Street Brawling/Karate" variation of V's original anims.
All anims were edited via blender by me, zTimberWolfz(Wolf Fire Modz), and others were from outside sources such as Unreal Engine (Hit reactions/takedowns).
This mod only alters the one base game fighting style, with altered/new features while making sure it can be compatible with other mods too! (Does not touch base folders since the install is now in a "DLC Pack" format, first of it's kind regarding my combat mods!)
We definitely suggest you watch the preview videos linked to this mod page as one features the SP edition and the other version available in Fivem!
Features:
-Rework of all fighting animations in a more realistic style (Includes better anim frame cutoffs for faster combos)
-Aggressive carjacking animations for everyone (AI & Players)
-overhauled standing kicks
-overhauled combo anims/hit reactions
-overhauled counter moves/hit reactions
-overhauled Dodge stance & Dodges
-overhauled standing takedowns
-overhauled finishers (when the opponent is at low health)
-NEW evade system (replaces low kick "toward" and running punch "away")
-new combat roll ability (running no target attack)
-New AI improvements (pedbrawlingstyle data)
-New AI taunts and background taunts
-Overhauled FPS attack anims/abilities (SP only)
-Overhauled combat stance/strafe (SP Only)

-Fixed pedbrawlingstyle.meta so enemy peds should dodge, combo attacks and counter more frequently.

Animations are only replaced in third person. We have provided a small client script to prevent players from switching to first-person

1. Install "fco" & "patchday1ng" into this path- mods-update-x64-dlcpacks (if patchday1ng is already there, delete the folder and then drop this one instead)
2. Open your dlclist.xml in this path- mods-update-update.rpf-common-data-dlclist.xml
3. right click "dlclist.xml" with edit mode enabled and edit the file, add this line to the bottom of the list:
dlcpacks:/fco/
click "save" in bottom right and then load up the game.
Most importantly have fun!!

WolfFireFightstyleOverhaul (Disabled FPS Version): (HIGHLY Recommended)
This version acts as a "bandaid" for all of the known bugs regarding fps with this mod.
-disables first person view for all players (This makes sure that people cannot "cheat" by using the running punch or vanilla anims while in FPS)
-This also ensures that the takedowns always look visually as intended.
WolfFireFightstyleOverhaul (Original):
-Unrestricted version that allows players to enter fps with modified 3rd person anims
- WARNING Players can still SPAM the running punch while in first person resulting in unintended reactions.
-All anims in FPS are vanilla for the player doing the action, but modified to those watching the player from a 3rd person perspective.

@EnchancedCap Unfortunately where this is an animation overhaul I can't add any new action folder data without editing files that exist outside of the provided dlc pack folder. However, I intend on porting this version to my latest combat mod pack #3 where I can include alternative kick variations and more alongside the other assignable styles! I will say that my upcoming mod will only be available for single player though where Fivem hasn't exposed the necessary combat folder files yet for developers. (I'm hoping this mod will gain traction and we can change that in the future so everyone can fight each other with some of my other custom WAYY more advanced fighting styles!) 🔥🐺🔥

@TroopahGaming Understandable, this mod will work fine without that folder! It will just essentially be granting you what is only available in fivem. (No FPS animations replace and no Combat Stance overhaul) That's all that patch file replaces anyway. However, if you want the standalone anims, DM me on discord and I can send them to you, as well as where to install them within the folder. 💯😎✌️
@agio20 This was indeed created for legacy, which is what a lot of FiveM users stay on due to some issues with dlc packs taking up mod space etc. However, I can send you the patchday1ng stand alone anims via discord if you send me a dm.
Alternatively, without the parchday1ng file, you'll basically have the FiveM version in single player. Just lacks replaced FPS anims, and the base combat action strafe overhaul. 🔥🐺🔥

I tinkered with the xml myself but now my guy both throws the mighty punch and shuffles back at speed at the same time, so I must have done something wrong there, haha. Any chance for a version of this that has exclusively only the punches and kicks from vanilla? but your versions?
I'm not really a fan of the spinning punch, or not being able to punch running for example
But other than that, this is nice
@thalilmythos I might upload an alternative that I made that has edited V counters (original V anims with altered stance as seen in my previous video on YT), dm me on discord and I can share it with you. Shoot me a text and we'll go from there. I'm still at work today, but on one of my days off I'll work on that version for you where it's fairly simple to do. 😁✌️

@Thirsty_edits I know we talked on discord already, but for anyone who is curious this does work on enhanced (sp)! I have the standalone files on discord I can send, however anyone is welcome to extract the ycds from Patchday1ng (the folder in download archive) and port them into the enhanced version themselves.
The only two needed are melee@unarmed@streamed_core_fps and move_strafe_melee_unarmed.
These go in the file path accordingly:
