Welcome to the Enhanced Traffic Experience! Strenuously crafted and thoroughly researched, this mod will give you the true next-gen experience on PC. No stone was left unturned including scratch-built popgroups, popcycles as well as hundreds of unique car generators and vehiclemodelsets. You deserve the best in class for traffic configurations, and this is it! Enjoy realism, hidden vehicles, easter eggs and so much more that brings the 10-year old map of GTA V back to life!
This is the Lite Edition of the mod, meaning it only contains vanilla content. The Ultimate Edition which includes mods, can be found here! (COMING SOON)
For those that have been waiting, I want to be transparent. Due to a few major setbacks, this mod is not shipping out with as much content as I'd like. Fear not, it will receive more updates to add the missing content. It's just been on the back burner for so long now, that I just really wanted to get it out.
In the 3.0 update, a complete restructuring of the mod has taken place. Rebuilt from the ground up and including tons of additional changes. This update includes:
- Complete rework of popgroups and popcycles, to give you a fresh and natural feel for the traffic.
- New car generators, from flashy supercars, film cars to even some easter eggs.
- New, unique vehiclemodelset entries, ranging from custom racing machines to tourist cars and beyond.
- Brand new dispatch.meta that gives you a much more varied group of law enforcement interactions.
- Sprinkled in some Los Santos Mercenaries vehicles
On the horizon:
- Scenarios
- Even more great stuff!
Installation is in the ReadMe! file included. Please read it!
FAQ:
1q. The cars are disappearing! Help!
1a. Make sure to install Simple Trainer and or Menyoo to prevent DLC vehicles from despawning.
2q. A bunch of the same cars are spawning!
2a. This is known as the 'GTA Effect' where a specific vehicle is chosen by the game and prioritized. This has nothing to do with the mod.
3q. Cops Back on The Beat? RDE compatibility?
3a. No. Never. Stop asking.
4q. There is no variety or density!
4a. The vanilla settings for variety and density are not great. For increased variety, go to Documents/Rockstar Games/GTA V/settings.xml and edit the line to your liking. You can also increase density, but it's much safer to use a modified gameconfig. Be careful as values that are too high can cause crashes. I personally have my variety at 7.5. For increased density, I recommend Cass' L.S Traffic mod.

can you make it compatible with COPS BACK ON BEAT?
its a mod that make police cars and police on the streeets more than the vanilla.
he edited the popgroups and popcycle like you. so when i install yours, his mod is gone and when i install him's, yours is gone.

There's NO nninstaller or uninstall instructions for this mod so people need to be careful, especially because when you install it, it works, but cars have been disappearing for a long time now right in front of your face while driving down the road.

FYI for anyone using the Phoenix whether vanilla or with a replacer. The phoenix is not listed in VEH_POOR in the popsgroup.ymt for this mod so it will never spawn in Single Player.

Version 4.0 is very close to being finished! There is some cleaning up to do + the addition of some fun add-ons for the a better experience. Please hang tight! As of April 16th (today, as of writing), GTA V got a small patch which broke ScripthookV, so progress is on pause!
