This is an audio modification for GTA V that focuses specifically on enhancing rain sounds. It replaces the default loud and repetitive vanilla rain audio with a calmer, more immersive experience. HOW TO INSTALL
As of now, the mod is available for manual installation only. Follow these steps to get it set up:
Download the Mod
First, download the mod file and extract it to a location of your choice.
Locate the Manual Install Folder
Inside the extracted folder, you’ll find a subfolder named Manual Install. Open it, and you’ll see a file named weather.oac.
Open OpenIV
Launch OpenIV and ensure you have edit mode enabled.
Navigate to the Resident Folder
In OpenIV, go to the following directory:
mods/x64/audio/sfx/resident.rpf
Import the weather.oac File
Click the New button (located in the top-left corner of OpenIV) and select Import OpenFormats (.oac).
Navigate to the location where you extracted the mod, select weather.oac, and import it.
Save and Close
Once the import is complete, save your changes and close OpenIV.
That’s it! You’re all set to enjoy the enhanced rain sounds in GTA V.
