Paint for the In-Game Savage. Again, retasking my previous in game paint for the Savage. Note, this will also change the paint for any Savages that spawn naturally, not just ones you spawn with a trainer.
Paint for US Army 1st Air Cav, Afghanistan, Algeria, Bangledesh, Brazil, Bulgaria, Cameroon, Croatia, Cuba, Czech, East Germany, Egypt, Ethiopia, Finland, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Libya, Malaysia, Nigeria, North Korea, Pakistan, Peru, PLAAF, Poland, Romania, Russia and USSR, Sudan, Syria, Uganda, Ukraine, Umbrella Corp, Venzuela, Vietnam, and Yugoslavia.
Follow this path to the file to overwrite:
...\GTAV\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\mpheist\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\vehicles\mpheistvehicles.rpf\savage.ytd
If you wish to retain the original savage Paint, while in OpenIV, extract the file savage.ytd. I typically extract the original .ytd to the same folder as the dlc.rpf and rename it to orig_savage.ytd.
When ready to overwrite with one of the inlcuded liveries, toggle "Edit mode", top right button, and select savage.ytd, right click on the entry and select replace, then select the savage.ytd from the extracted zip file, then do the same for savage.ytd.
...\GTAV\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\mpheist\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\vehicles\mpheistvehicles.rpf\
Just to confirm the livery, I'd click on the savage+hi.yft or savage.yft file to open the OpenIV Model Viewer to see what the model will look like with the new livery.
Once you've spawned the savage with the your choice of trainer, select a paint color that suits your needs. I tend toward worn silver for primary and secondary paint, but the choice is yours. I've found that some primary paint choices will impact how well the camo pattern shows up.
I would also add that if you think you've messed up the mpheist file, you can always copy the original dlc file and overwrite the one in the mod folder. I would note that there are some mods that overwrite vehicles like the Valkyrie, so using the original dlc file might remove any mods already in the mpheist file.
I've included a GIMP .XCF file with the roundels, etc.
Enjoy,
Gillman
