The title is probably what is insulting most of all maybe you should have labeled it differently. Perhaps changing the title to "Lighter skin" instead of "white franklin skin" would have been more acceptable for the community because I think Franklin still looks black/latino even after the mod is applied due to his facial features. Reading all the comments makes it obvious the title is clearly offensive to some mostly due to choice of wording and your lack of sensitivity on the matter and not the actual mod itself.

If I made a mod and a certain ethnic group was telling me something is wrong and more and more were commenting and getting upset. I would eventually ask questions to find out what they find offensive or what I might have done wrong and I would try to rectify the problem or at very least make a disclaimer or even apologize for any confusion it caused.

I wish the mod author could be a bit more apologetic to the sensitivity of the issue at hand instead of dismissing it or keeping the "I am not wrong" mentality. Now to be fair some of the comments also were not worded well and blatantly calling anyone racist doesnt help much either which again comes down to lack of better communication. If more people were sensitive to each other there would be much less tension and arguments.
