Well, here we go.
This mod allows you to use the spots (scenarios) that NPC peds use for their animations, like sitting, smoking, lounging, you name it. Check the video for the info.
To use nearest animation press "NUMPAD /" (divide slash). Stop animation - SHIFT + NUMPAD /, tp to the animation and use it - CTRL + NUMPAD /.
When you are aiming with your gun, the ped you are aiming at will use the animation instead of your player character. If you are blind #%$% and miss the ped (or you just aim at the sky, whatever) the nearest ped will be chosen.
Have fun.
Installation:
1: Have Scripthook. If you don't then get it here.
2: Extract the archive into your GTA 5 folder (where your GTA5.EXE is).
FAQ:
Q: Animation spots are invisible, can you make them visible?
A: No.
Well, probably there is a way, but i dont have time for this. If you give me 10 grand so i may not work and make mods instead then i can try.
Q: I use laptop and I dont have numpad! What should I do?
A: Change the key in the DoPedStuff.ini file. You can get key numbers here - http://cherrytree.at/misc/vk.htm
Change only the number, DON'T TOUCH ANYTHING ELSE!

The controls are f*king horrible... why do I need to hold a key combination to cancel the action? The character just jumps from one scenario to the next, 2/10 times it actually cancels it.

downloaded purely for the "chronal space shift" stuff. lmao. seriously though this is great! i just want more immersive animations and i haven't found a way to sit in enclosed chairs or beach chairs yet. even with menyoo's perform closest scenario action.

An option would be good to exclude smoking animations, because there's so damn many spots where peds smoking ‒ for example: "nosmoking=1".
(I know this is old, but this is the only mod like this.)7 november 2023 -
this is interesting, it solved some problems I encountered, such as now a ped could sit on a wall, lie on a couch, and so on; but it could make ped twisted in body; still very useful script.

For those who don't know how to install and use this mod let me explain :
How to install :
Place the " DoPedStuff.asi " & " DoPedStuff.ini " directly into the GTA V directory folder where the game exe. file is located, not in the scripts folder*.How to use :
Press the " Numpad / " key to start the mod.
Hold " Shift " key and press the " Numpad / " key to cancel the mod.
Hold " Left Control " key and press the " Numpad / " key to teleport for another stuff.PS : Thanks to the author for creating the most wanted mod script which I wished someone would create but never found until now. If possible please promote this mod to your friends as well as social platforms like reddit, discord forums as I am 100% sure there are many buddies who are looking for this mod but never found due to its underrated status.

Version 1.2 is out.
Changes:
- Key is now customisable in DoPedStuff.ini file.
- Mod does not activate when character is in a vehicle (unless you targeting another ped)
To people who get glitches like sitting on air when trying to sit on a wall, or missing props (lifting weights) you can avoid this by using teleport function (CTRL + NUMPAD / by default).
If you care to know why, i think its because those spots cannot be used by peds, they can only SPAWN into those spots already performing an action.
