IVHostages is back in GTA V - Presenting, HostagesV!
PRESS F10 TO ENABLE THE MENU!!!
This is a major component of the mod and lets you command the hostages.
Forcing them on their knees is not the main feature of this mod.
A lot of people seem to have missed this.

Special Thanks
I'd like to give a special thanks to both Guad and Carrythxd.
Guad for creating NativeUI which allowed me to implement a menu to control the hostages instead of having to assign each action to a key.
And Carrythxd for helping me out with testing, support and for taking these amazing screenshots of the mod.
Fantastic work, the both of you!
Features
Kidnap/Take hostages by aiming at random pedestrians. Force your hostages to follow you. Force your hostages to get down on their knees. Force your hostages to get down on the ground. Force your hostages to put their hands up. Attach blips to your hostages so you don't lose 'em. Instead of just shooting them, humanely put them down using the 'Kill' button. Alternatively, you can let your hostages go by freeing them.
Requirements
.NET Framework 4.5.2 Visual C++ 2015 NativeUI 1.5 (Included in Download) ScriptHookV ScriptHookVDotNet
Installation
1. Copy "gTaTer_HostagesV.dll" to your /scripts/ folder.
2. Copy "gTaTer_HostagesV.ini" to your /scripts/ folder.
3. Copy "NativeUI.dll" to your /scripts/ folder if you don't already have a copy.
Changelog
1.0
Initial release
To be added in next update
Make hostage enter last owned vehicle. Fix hostages losing their animations when bumped into. Add option to move hostages anywhere by simply aiming at the position you want them to stand at. Numpad support Better animations No more being able to target bodyguards, friends, etc Add .ini toggle value for the notification beep Ability to demand ransom from hostage's family (Slight chance of ambush)
Known bugs
1. Menu closing: When aiming down your weapon and opening the menu and then releasing the aim key the menu will close. To avoid this, do not aim while opening the menu.
2. When opening the options menu for hostages, previously selected options may appear highlighted. They are not. If it bothers you then navigate to that option and the highlight will go away.
I've narrowed this issue down to NativeUI itself, and it appears there is nothing I can do about this.
3. Bumping into hostages can cause them to lose their animation and make them stand up, completely still. This will be fixed in the new update.

Nice! Great idea and... execution 😎
Please don't tell me you won't update it
WE NEED AN UPDATE! Dudes cmon
Works
@ManiaPassion hi, pls tell what version of game do u have? License or not? And it works all, with the menu??
@Voimics Yeah i have the orginal one and menu works as long as clicking right button on your mouse
Works great
Amazin' partner.I just wished that there was a option to disable it and enable it with a key so it doesn't make random NPC's put their hands up when I massacre them.
damn. Maybe it's because I have a pirated version. No one knows what is the difference from the license because of which some mods (such as this one) do not work? (no Public constructor was found)
doesnt wotrk, got all requirements but nothing
you should extract the RAR file if its not working if it still isnt idk.
not working i have this error Failed to instantiate gTaTer-HostagesV because no Public constructor was found
Same issue here
The only things that could make this better for me are an activation/deactivation key because when you are in a gunfight, it gets kind of annoying when people put their hands up and don't fight, quicker animations, and robbery/ransom.
Gran trabajo
@GTATerminal does this work with fleeca bank heists?
This does NOT work, even by holding right click then pressing F10. Get this outta the site.
dosent work this new version scriptHook
If this mod develops into holding hostages for blackmail, it would be great
doesn't work since 2021. amazing
@yep-floppy This mod actually still works perfectly. Make sure you have the listed requirements, the mod files are placed in a folder called scripts and most importantly you have the latest scripthookvdotnet from here https://github.com/scripthookvdotnet/scripthookvdotnet-nightly/releases
