It has both frustrated and surprised me that there was not a single mod to remove the infinite parachutes. So I decided to fix that problem myself. This is a simple script I made that removes the parachute completely.
Originally, I intended to keep this script for myself but I thought others might definitely have the same problem as me and decided to post it.
As we all know, after completing a certain mission you get a parachute permanently and there is no way to get rid of it. Until I made this script. This tiny script completely disables the parachute even after completing the mission, and you can free-fall in peace, without being intrerrupted.
Requirements:
- Script Hook V (http://www.dev-c.com/gtav/scripthookv/)
- Community Script Hook V .NET (https://github.com/crosire/scripthookvdotnet/releases)
Please install these before proceeding - the script won't work if you don't.
Installation instructions:
1. Install both Script Hook V and Community Script Hook V .NET from the links above, if you haven't already.
2. Extract the NoParachute.dll file from the archive into your scripts folder that is inside your GTA V game directory. If there is no scripts folder in your game directory, create it and place the .dll file there. Done!
Usage: You don't need to press any key or do anything for the parachute to be removed. Just follow the installation instructions and once you enter the game, the parachute is gone.
Important notice: This script completely removes the parachute. Even if you go and buy one from Ammu-Nation it's not gonna give it to you. If I find a way to remove the permanent parachute but still allow to purchase one from Ammu-Nation and use it one time, I'll make a mod and post it here. But I do not guarantee that I will, so if nothing else gets uploaded from me, you'll have to do with this.
If you want to get the parachute back, just delete the NoParachute.dll file in your scripts folder and voila.

Thank You! I Have 100% savegame for GTA V downloaded from Internet and i was frustrated because i was see a parachute icon! and when i fall, i see that i falling with a parachute! it was so annoying! but with No Parachute mod i can fell off without a Parachute! Thanks!

@OfficialAlexM I dunno if you're still working on this or if you wanna keep it strictly done in scripts. If you do wanna continue this, I'd check out the movementtasks.ymt. I've done some pretty interesting things in there in regards to ragdolling and when the parachute is deployed. I just dunno how to replicate the results 🤷♂️

Im gunna try this. My game has been wonky for yrs..so much so, i had to buy a new copy, last yr. Re: among other things, i had parachutes, as in it was on when falling..but could not deploy. the casino update fixed that, but now it's broken again..i may as well try this mod, since they don't work anyway. & i agree, the parachute is too invasive. trainers need a toggle for it, tbh. I just use menyoo 'manual fly mode' to land 'nicely' :p if i jump out of a plane or flying land vehicle, lmbo. you can actually complete parachute missions this way with a modicum of practice.
