@BTTF V Team Just have to say I'm having a blast with the mod! Time traveling in a tricked out Deluxo with missiles and a stripper is my new thing. I LOVE how it let me hover-convert the Deluxo to BTTF-style effects after I put the DMC wheels on it! PLUS.. the BTTF musical effect when leaving the garage WHAT?!. Don't even get me started on the Nov 1955 lightening run! OMG!! YOU ARE THE GOLD STANDARD AND PIONEERS OF THE COOLEST MOD EVER TO EXIST!! Thank you for this creative way to experience the glory of John DeLorean's DMC-12 as well as the magic of Doc Brown's Time Vehicle. You've made GTA V much more than just a video game.
@BTTF V Team Beautiful mod guys! Love the detail. My only issue is the infinite fuel. I have it turned on but the fuel remains empty regardless of Nuclear Reactor or Mr. Fusion. Only way I can get a time jump is if I build a custom DeLorean since the cinematic spawn uses the only fuel unit. Any input on that? Again congrats on the new release it really is amazing!
@D0CT0R I have menyoo and it works great. I don't know what naturalvision is, but try running the mod without it. Beyond that, I can say for sure my game becomes super laggy if I have too many DeLoreans on the map or too many in one location, like the airport. So, be sure to regularly purge the map of high-resolution time vehicles ;) Speaking of which, it's not completely necessary, but I'm curious if you would have this problem using the lower resolution BTTFV mod.
Lastly, If you read this thread, you will see the endless list of people who can't get this to work at all. Modding in general is an uphill battle and this mod is as temperamental as it is awesome. With that in mind, it has served me well to only have what the mod requires and nothing beyond that until I get it working as intended by design.
@BrianJB Good luck and be careful on re-entry. You don't want to get struck by lightening :)
@Alex01 No bugs since I got it working yesterday. Actually, its running more stable now than it ever has. That doesn't mean I've never had the problems you are describing. It sounds like you need to start over and go in phases. Bring your game dir back to virgin status and make sure the game runs mod-free with no issues. Then get fresh downloads of gameconfig v24, scripthookv and the communitydotnet files. (plus the packfile limit adjuster, heap adjuster, etc) and make sure you watch the youtube on how to properly insert the gameconfig with OpenIV. Also watch out for warning messages with OpenIV and do everything it wants you to do. Also need to confirm you have the visualbasic and dotnet framework requirements installed.
Your major checkpoint here is getting the game to run glitch-free with the gameconfig and mod files only. ONLY after you reach this point should you proceed with the BTTFV installation. Hope that helps.
@BrianJB Play the game enough so that you have access to the map. I think its just the first mission where franklin and his friend repo the sports cars.
@gamingreflex @Alex01 I just got everything working bttfv mod included. The key as always is the VERY LATEST gameconfig (v24) 0,1x traffic 0,1x peds; ScripthookV, & Community scripthookvdotnet files. Remember sometimes updates aren't reflected in the version number so get it anyways even if it doesn't appear to be new. And also remember that every time you change the gameconfig file, it breaks the bttfv mod so you MUST reinstall it (and the goodyear tire mod aswell). In fact, reinstalling the mods should always be your last step after changing any of these files.
@BrianJB I am not having that problem. If you've already watched the videos, all I can say is you must be working with an old mod file or you are doing something out of order. Try going in phases. First, restore your directory to clean virgin status, then do the directory mod files and the gameconfig only. Then launch the game and make sure it runs. This will confirm you have a game that's ready for the BTTF Mod.
Also everyone please keep in mind that all this information is based on getting BTTFV to work with GTA V v2215 via ROCKSTAR Game Launcher.
Lastly, as promised, screenshots of my game folder and dlclist can be found at: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/vuvq70sebr91phh/AAAGB9-SbrWnBKeqV-SRhuEHa?dl=0
With that, I'm off to go back in time with Infernus. Good Luck Everyone!
@gamingreflex I feel ya. I just got the right scripthook and gameconfig for v2215 so the game works now but the mod is crashing. I'm working on it dude. As soon as I discover the secret sauce I will share.
@Alex01 are you using this gameconfig https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/gta-5-gameconfig-300-cars
and this version of scripthookv.net? https://github.com/crosire/scripthookvdotnet/releases/tag/v3.1.0
@Alex01 Sorry man just saw your post. Someone else posted a more complete version of the requisites immediately after I did so I stopped checking the thread. Unfortunately, Rockstar just released another update which of course broke everything again. Once I get it all working, I'd be happy to send a screen shot of my game directory... if you're still having issues, hopefully it works with the steam platform. (I'm using Rockstar Game Launcher) LMK
