WHAT DOES THIS DO:
This makes the HK MP5 mod by _keegan_ an add-on mod with standalone attacthments (3 variants, 4 scopes, 1 suppressor, 1 flash)
All scopes' first person aiming offsets are tuned so the weapon does hit where player aims.
CHANGELOG:

Added ingame hud descriptions for the weapon and sights
Adjusted first-person aiming view offsets
INSTALLATION:
Download the HK MP5 mod by _keegan_ from
HK MP5
extract the files and rename them as "how to rename original files" do
then drag the "hkmp5" folder from this mod into (mods)/update/x64/dlcpacks in editor mode using OpenIV
go to weapons.rpf in (mods)/update/x64/dlcpacks/hkmp5/dlc.rpf/x64/models/cdimages/
drop renamed files as "put those here like this.jpg" shows to weapons.rpf
go to dlclist.xml located in (mods)/update/update.rpf/common/data/
add "dlcpacks:\hkmp5\" without" " and save.

I have installed this, and the magazine does not attach in the right place but in fact attaches within the pistol grip. I have installed into FiveM with all files apart from the PICKUPS file. Not sure how that would cause it, I have used both mag1 and mag2 but mag1 as mag1, mag2 as mag2. Could I possibly get some support with this issue? Besides that resulting in us not using it currently... 4/5 as the detail and quality of the weapon is perfect and everything else works.
Thank you for making this mod, I really like Keegan's HK MP5 but the scope never worked, thank you for fixing it!!!

@RandomGTAFreak If it's the smg sound in the video that interests you, extract the weapons.awc from version 3.5 and export those smg sound files like (https://pasteboard.co/G6CjeW2XJGo1.jpg), then import them to the one you are currently using

@naonaoo Menyoo doesn't have the function fo spawning weapon component by model name so it won't work imo

@skyflicker Thanks. The first question has been resolved. Now I only have 1 problem. Is it possible to add multiple sights and grips to an add-on weapon? And can you give them a name?
@UnknownDude Yes, new sights and grips can be customized (models, names), this involves editing "weaponarchetypes.meta( https://ibb.co/V9JYKbn )" & "weaponcomponents.meta( https://ibb.co/nmXg2rg https://ibb.co/Lg2VTqj )", once you have finished adding new attactments, go to the "weapons.meta" of the weapon on which you'd like to use them then add new lines ( https://ibb.co/wrt5XCV ). A weapon can have multiple sights and grips "ready to equip", however only one of each attachments can be installed at the same time( like this HK MP5 has 4 sights ready, meanwhile you can only have 1 sight work.
@UnknownDude As for giving new name to each attachment, firstly find the <LocName> for the sight in "weaponcomponents.meta" ( https://ibb.co/JmjT676 ), and go to dlc.rpf\x64\data\lang\ ( https://ibb.co/9nN70tp ) then export the "global.gxt2" of the language you are current using to Openformat ( https://ibb.co/y8XZwX1 )
here's a tutorial ( https://forums.gta5-mods.com/topic/12546/custom-gxt2-for-car-names-for-add-on-dlc/4 ) on how to edit this type of file, you can use this add-on mod as a base to edit ( https://ibb.co/ByKLVBz ), once you have done the naming part, import it back to replace the former one.
@Jonesey's Mods Thank you for installing this config! The reloading animation works fine on my end, the animation data files should not cause this issue as they are the same as vanilla SMG's. Make sure you download the V2.0 of _keegan_'s MP5 mod (it fixed the mag bug exactly as described in your case). If this issue persists, could you provide the clip or screenshots so that l can look into it.
