@hrtmjm interior builders: now this seems to be a job for me
@BorkLaser facts being spoken here
looks good, but is there a reason why you didnt place it in downtown on top of a short building? looks so out of place there
@drlq99 I believe that the optimization of GTA V on XBOX360 and PS3 was due to the absence of buildings. GTA IV had a lot more buildings and was terrible and slow, even on modern computers. My idea is to spread new buildings around the GTA V map outside of downtow, so I chose a more remote location for NEXT.
It looks pretty good. But the height and location it has is really really off, especially when taking into account that it is in the path of a runway, and that IRL Los Angeles, really does not have any massive sky scrapers once you get out of the downtown.
I'd consider halfling the height, and moving it over east by 20m.
@Soaring_Wings
Would you believe that this building I made by accident? I just opened 3DS Max and drew a rectangle, extruded it and put random coordinates on the ymap and it appeared in that place. Then I improved the structure, put textures and I think it was good, it was my first mod in GTA V.
Looks well built. Can't imagine somethin like this having a lotta bugs. But I do have to say the location of it does seem real weird. I feel it'd need to be shortened down to only one of those glass sections for it to look remotely fitting.
@NaijaMango But my thought is precisely that, to spread new skyscrapers across the map of Los Santos, in the empty areas. I was very disappointed when I saw GTA V for the first time, even though it is based on a real city that doesn't have many skyscrapers, it is ridiculous in the variety of vertical constructions when compared to GTA IV. I sincerely hope for a new GTA with more buildings and possibly all accessible interiors. Imagine a GTA in Dubai? It would be amazing.
