For those who are still having problems loading add-ons after latest patch. Try this one. I have very picky add-ons, this worked perfectly.

some add on cars seem to be crashing when spawned. Im looking into this. not sure if its a gameconfig issue or an issue with those particular add on cars.

@vinnis Can you update this gameconfig? Yours worked well on 1.39. The other gameconfigs on this site can't even get past the loading screen.

@vinnis I tried your gameconfig.xml. it actually works! I will have to combine some of my RPF's because Rockstar uses so many. Lol.

@rgargvanshu get rid of all scripts and try again. if its a gameconfig issue, most of the time it will give you an error.
@vinnis Hi friend, consult: how do I configure my own gameconfig.xml ?, because the ones that I download crashing the game, what are the lines that I must modify?
@José Rodríguez there are too many to count. you can open notepad ++ and do a comparison between 2 gameconfig.xml files and modify from there.

@vinnis Hello im currently working on a mod to make longer trains with 100+ freightcars. If I try to spawn a train with 100+ freightcars the game always crashed. Do you know if there is a way to fix this limit with the gameconfig file. Thx for your help. Have a nice day
@GTA5_PLAYER im not sure if i know a way to fix that, it could be a game engine limitation or even a computer limitation like running out of ram and\or video memory. but you can try something. open your gameconfig.xml file look for "fragment store" and increase the value until you cannot load the game. then try to spawn the freight cars. good luck.
@vinnis Thx. I tested it but the same problem. Max fragment store with my pc is 2200000(WTF). Do you have another idea to fix this. With the standard fragment store i can spawn two trains at the same time with 100+ freightcars(here the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AlCAzRRlYSE).
It seems like no one is updated their gameconfig.xml files to the newest 1180.1 version yet(or whatever the number is as of 10/1/2017) So here is the guidelines for what you need to edit in the gameconfig.xml file yourself and keep it up to date without having to rely on someone else to do it for you. It is super easy and I recomend notepad++ but even notepad with basic windows will do the job just fine, here are the values you must edit after every update to keep your addon car mods working and the current values I use with the latest update(these change every update so you have to re-edit them every time)

These values change with every update so just add 100 to whatever the current value is in your gameconfig.xml file in your mods/update/update.rpf/common/data folder and you are golden...unsure of total amount of addon car mods is with these values but I have it working with 12 addons right now and no infinite loading screens and no crashing, cheers peeps!
