What this mod does?
This mod provides dynamic traffic patterns throughout the day, with particular attention to the weekend patterns.
The philosophy behind it is to reward or punish the driver depending on when he plans to act: A heist done during the rush hour will translate in a harder getaway, sweeping through the bumber-to-bumper traffic. Vice versa, hustling in the night makes it easy to run away from the crime scene.
Where to install?
Scripts folder. ScriptHookV and ScriptHookVDotNet required.

I don't know, but I feel like it doesn't work for my game, it doesn't seem to change the traffic for any period of time
Does it work with version 1.0.2245?
i can't download the 5x traffic config because the instructions are wrong, they tell you to follow a filepath that doesn't exist
nvm i just replaced normal config. i think that's what it wanted me to do anyways.

Could someone tell me how to make it so its always rush hour? I changed the random rush hour percentage to 100 and its still not always random rush hour.
@Ex696 Try to reintall the mod and change the "2" to 90 no spaces no nothing just change the number....it works fine for me
My roads are almost perpetually empty. I wish there was a way to force traffic and certain times of day!
Excellent mod, was what i was lookin for... still work in 2023 NOVEMBER
So is this mod supposed to make the game have 0 cars in it? Doesn't matter the time and with a game config of x5 cars and x5 peds theres nothing in the game, does this still work?
@SnakeSlippers I can confirm Live Traffic works perfectly on my build. I have NVE, DriveV, PullMeOver and a few other minor scrips on the latest game version (Steam).
Was curious if anyone here knew how to turn off the HUD ingame? While it's nice to see when configuring it's rather immersion breaking when it's constantly popping up. Any help with that would be greatly appreciated.

I also use this mod to turn off HUD and radar: CGE's Dynamic Radar and HUD [ASI] 4.2
@SnakeSlippers my Live Traffic install is unmodified from the release version. Not sure if this will help any, but PullMeOver conflicted with a few mods in my experience. I had RDE installed and with it no traffic spawned. Police cruisers did spawn in some areas. With PullMeOver removed, RDE functioned fine. But, I wanted both the police overhaul and the traffic violations to work simultaneously. After some trial and error I landed on PEV: SALE. It reworks police dispatch in a similar fashion to RDE and also works with PullMeOver.

I am using the 'SALE' version.
The original PullMeOver (2.0.1, last updated 2018) included a link to 'Cops: Back on the Beat'. Unfortunately, this police script caused similar traffic issues as to what RDE did so I uninstalled it. The main issue here seems to be that PullMeOver doesn't play well with a few different vehicle injectors.

The updated script contains an OIV installer for 'Cops on Patrol' which, as the name implies, gets cops to show up in traffic.
I am using the updated PullMeOver with the included Cops on Patrol. My dispatch mod is PEV:SALE. My game now has a realistic amount of police on patrol, a restructured and more challenging wanted system and the added challenge of requiring you to be cognizant of police when you're about to break traffic laws. These three totally changed the dynamic of the game. It has largely made me fearful of police intervention, especially when trying to evade three star or higher wanted levels.
@I use the same mods and stuff. But with just this mod installed I have no traffic at all. So it's this mod that kills traffic for me, nothing else.
Hi. I really like the mod. Is there any way to edit and customize the script? I would like to change densities in certain hours but ini file doesn't give that option.
