Take your GTA V realism to the next level. The Exclusion Zone adds high-risk radioactive hotspots to the map. This mod focuses on a slow-burn survival mechanic where the environment itself becomes your deadliest enemy.
Key Features:
Accumulative Radiation: Radiation builds up in your system. The closer you are to the source, the faster it rises.
Organ Failure Mechanic: No instant health drain. Once your radiation bar hits 100%, your character suffers organ failure, collapses into a ragdoll, and dies.
Top-Center HUD: A clean, modern UI at the top of the screen showing your current exposure level.
Gas Mask Protection: Put on a Gas Mask (ID 46) to completely stop the radiation from rising.
Immersive Effects: Visual screen static and warnings (e.g., "Critical: Organ failure imminent!") keep you informed of the danger.
Current Active Zones:
Humane Labs (Critical Threat)
Fort Zancudo Outpost (High Threat)
Sandy Shores Contamination (Medium Threat)
Airport Perimeters (Experimental Zones)
v1.4 (Current Release):
NEW: Implemented "Organ Failure" mechanic. The character now collapses into a ragdoll before death at 100% radiation for maximum realism.
NEW: Added dynamic Screen Effects. Visual noise and static now increase based on your radiation level.
NEW: Notification System. Receive status warnings above the minimap (Radiation Detected / High Exposure / Critical).
IMPROVEMENT: Relocated HUD to Top-Center. This prevents overlapping with cash, ammo, or other popular UI mods.
IMPROVEMENT: Smooth color transition for the radiation bar (Green -> Yellow -> Red).
FIX: Resolved "Flickering Text" bug by switching to a stable frame-by-frame rendering method.
FIX: Removed experimental particle effects to ensure 100% script stability and performance.
INSTALLATION:
1. Requirements:
- ScriptHookV
- ScriptHookVDotNet 3
2. Drag and drop "TheExclusionZone.dll" into your "scripts" folder.
3. If the "scripts" folder does not exist, create it in your
GTA V main directory.
This mod is under active development, with more zones, Geiger counter sounds, and further improvements coming soon in future updates.
