@F7YO, just swinging by to leave a rating and say thank you as these configs got WOV and others working in the current build! Awesome job!
I forgot to mention install WOV first or you will get the gameconfig from WOV that is at the moment incompatible. Peace out!
This should work for car packs and (hopefully) most other mods that install to the .rpf files or DLCpacks that require altering DlcList, I'm using Walters Overhauled Trains and Realistic Explosions, Teargas, Flare, Water Hydrant And More 1.1. I also sucessfully tested it with Kitsunes train mod that has over 150 models with it.
Good luck!
@BIGBRAINTIME, @Ruzski, @pinheijo, @makeouthillxd, @YaBoiBlasty, @giano and anyone wanting to use this until it is officially updated:
How to make WOV work in the current build.
Do not load CScenariopoint patch, it is not needed and will crash your game. Use Heap Adjuster ( I'm using Dilapitadeds) but don't bother with the packfile mod as it's not needed anymore either.
The infinite loading screen is due to the gameconfig.xml. Use one of the gameconfigs from https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/gta-5-gameconfig-300-cars (this can also replace L.S. Traffic)
Been running smoothly for several days now. I have noticed nothing missing and am getting no errors, running smooth as silk!
Good luck!
@RHC_3421, yes, all issues are present in the automatic install. Installing the files manually would be very difficult after unzipping them as there are so many files. (Cass did an amazing job!) There is nothing inherently wrong with the files. The gamconfig.xml simply is the wrong version for the game update and my own experience was that I had problems with using a stock file. I couldn't even add the Coroner vans for Eddlims Coroner mod and that's only two vehicles.
I hope this helps until Cass gets some time to officially update the mod! It worked for me!
Mod it till it crashes!
Here is the event viewer description of the CScenarioPatch crash:

There's a little more but I think I got the important (plus a lot of cruft) parts.
Without CScenarioPointPatch WOV doesn't load and with it it crashes. New mod folder, fresh update files only .rpf mod installed WOV. No apparent problems from .asi, .CS, .dll mods. I don't know if they are all working but they are not throwing crashes (so far....).
Any additional logs or information I can supply?
@blackwiddow20 they are totally compatible. Just use the most recent of the metadata files.
@Fredrikbra
Wrong mod. That is Lively World. Disable the following scenarios in the .xml file.
<Scenario>CarCarryingBike</Scenario>
<Scenario>PoliceCarCarryingBike</Scenario>
@NaijaMango, I'm running around 30 script mods myself, There are so many, it is very time consuming to go through them all one or a few at a time. If you do discover what is exacerbating the transparency issue though, please inform the rest of us. My cars are translucent and since I drive in first person mostly i only notice lights shining through the window pillars, so it is still playable, unless I'm driving slow and notice it, but if they were wholly transparent like yours I doubt I would find that playable.
Good day to you. Off to work on the real life car!
@NaijaMango, wow, that is much more drastic than I have been seeing. In mine, the cars look solid in the daytime but at night lights of buildings and cars show them to be translucent.
Are you running other script based mods? I ask as I got the same results with or without other scriptmods, but wonder if the extreme transparency you're seeing is a conflict exacerbating the transparency problem.
I still need to try a full clean install test to check for conflicts from .rpf and .asi mods, but have been living in the garage the last few day working on my real life car.
@ImNotMental Had a small window to do more testing. I don't have the time currently to do a totally clean install and test against that but did do a test with this being the only script mod running. Same translucency. I am running rpf mods like WOV, overhauled trains and handling along with some asi mods like LeFixe's speedometer and fuel, After Death, CS scenario, Enhanced Native Trainer, and Gears (wheel support), but no script mods save for this one.
Hope the information is useful. I'll try to get to a clean install test, but likely won't have time for a few days with panic shopping and working on my real life cars horrid oil leak...
BTW... thank you for your work on this, it is an incredible mod, as all of yours have been.
@Joske1423 In your scripts file. It is generated the first time you run the script.
