So, I just did some testing and there actually wasn't a mod conflict. It seems like setting the NPCFearChance to anything other than 0 causes some peds to break. I'm curious if others are seeing similar. At least I figured out what was causing issues for me. Essential mod
Once you get the Ultimate version set up, it's an amazing experience especially if you combine it with the "Jets Intercept When Wanted" mod as well. It's super easy to make edits within the vb file. I've been able to remove the 6th star from the HUD, disable notifications when units are dispatched, edit peds and some other things. I love it! Definitely recommend this mod.
This mod is so fire. It makes gunfights so much more engaging. The only issue I have is that sometimes NPCs don't react when I aim at them. For example, when I go to the Ballas on Grove Street as Franklin and aim at them, they just don't react at all. It's probably conflicting with something in my mods folder, but I haven't tested it on a clean install yet. However, i won't let that affect the rating of the mod because its too good. Also, your FPS will go down a little so be prepared for that, but I'd still recommend adding this mod to your game.
Dog, I had to make an account to rate this shit. I just played the mission Repossession and after Lamar pulled off from the car wash, the Vagos pulled up and ended me before I could react. I'm also playing with No HUD, Watch Your Death and some other realism mods. I also disabled the texts in the ini file, so I'm not alerted when they're coming to kill me. That shit was cold asf!. 5/5 Essential mod.
