I have been working on this mod for years, lots of hours and spent a lot of time to create the perfect code recipe to make sure the cars react realistic and act like a real drag car. Watched many drag videos and i am also a big car fan and play a lot of racing games so i feel like its well made to my standers which are high. I hope you guys enjoy and have fun with this mod, currently i have 3 muscle cars that can do wheelies, Vigero, Dukes, Tampa (cars drive like they have ranges of 1000-1800+ HP depending what upgrades you got on)
-Updated in 1.4
-Bigger Drag Wheels
!!!WARNING!!!!
(Popping wheelies do require some skill as you can see in the video, and it is a big RECOMMENDATION to get Manual transmission mod by ikt so you can have full control the car and the wheelies)
Also thanks and credit to Bob322 and to his amazing car mods which i used to make my mod!!, i used 3 of his stock cars CAR MODELS NOT MADE BY ME i Just edited the wheels
__________________________________________
(Also have a full handling mod with Realistic Speed, Handling & Damage Deformation, Engine Damage, Weight mod all the cars (including dlc) speed, damage and weight are redone, except airplanes. If you don't want the whole handling file then just copy the 3 cars handling codes to your own)
INSTALLATION~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1. Open "Addon Pack Install" folder.
2. Launch Openiv and go to update > X64 > dlcpacks then just drag and drop the folder Stock_cars (recommend to make new folder and name it Stock_cars then drag and drop the dlc.rpf)
3. Then go to update > update.rpf > common > data and open dlclist with notepad and edit last line on list and add dlcpacks:\Stock_cars\
______________Optional_____________________
If you would like to replace the cars insted of add-on then just go to "optional" folder then open folder "Individual Handling Files" there you will have the handling files for each car. The replacement for the cars will be in \update\update.rpf\common\data "handling" file
To change the models of the cars
1. Start OpenIV
2. Go to: GTA V\update\x64\dlcpacks\patchday12ng\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\vehicles\vehicles.rpf
3. Enable Edit Mode and drag all of the downloaded YFT/YTD files into Open IV
(note: cars may not appear in the vehicles.rpf but drop them in anyways they will be replaced.)
If you want to install the full handling mod for all cars (damage, speed, braking, weight) then open "Realistic Handling Mod" folder and drag and drop all handling files idividually.
__________________________________________
Also there is a tutorial in the "Optional" folder so you can learn to make your own wheelie car mods. Each car takes some time to tune to make a wheelie mod for and unfortunately you cant just simply copy and paste the same code to each car they wont work properly but you can try copy any of my car codes as a template to start off with and they might work on some cars just fine tune the numbers to get it right.

@viperv770 -- Disregard, I derped around and figured out how to swap handling.meta info, so I just did that for the Dukes, Vigero, and Tampa into Bob322's DukesSC, VigeroSC, and TampaSC.
Wheelies, yo. Cheers.
@viperv770 -- Minor, but curious: The vehicles you have in the video on the airstrip all have the bugcatcher, but none of the stock cars in his pack have the bugcatcher or even the ability to change it as far as I can tell. What's the word?
@SpacemanSpiff I am now currently updating the mod so now you have a option to either just get the codes for each individual car OR install the whole handling pack which includes the rest of the cars in dlc packs i updated the speed for everything so slow cars definitely not beat fast cars, all super cars top speed redone to match the there real life stats. And yeah if you only added my current handling mod it doesn't have the files for the rest of dlc cars so if you race them with the cars on my handling list they will feel too fast and beat the other dlc cars because there vanilla.
@3ric2hew Thank you for the tips! ive been looking at the handling files these past couple days been tweaking with them, updating the mod and going to add Realistic DRIFTING as well, because think about it Yeah of course finally we see how it feels like to be Vin disel and pop wheelies in California in his beast of a charger and feel like a complete bad ass MF about it :P BUT also dont forget about Ken Block ravaging and tearing up the streets with array of vechicles of destruction like the 845hp AWD Mustang ;)
(cant wait for his V2 Mustang 1400+ hp holy S***)
@SpacemanSpiff for the bugcatcher im not sure it just works for me i installed the mod and then went to the mod shop and modded the cars, went to hood added the bugcatcher/blower
@viperv770 -- Are all the cars in your demo on the airstrip from the Stock Car mod? Because the ones I got from the addon pack don't include any options apart from performance, wheels, windows, respray haha. No worries, just curious.
At any rate, I really enjoy your wheelie mod. It makes these cars feel powerful and obviously look even more badass when you floor it. The nature of the wheelie makes it particularly different to drive as well, which is an interesting limiter to their overall performance. They're difficult to drive in police chases, for example, so even though they're beastly on the straights, they're challenging to keep control of in the heat of the moment. That could also be because I'm using mouse and keyboard, not a controller or wheel setup that offers more pressure-sensitive acceleration. Anyway, thanks for sharing this beast.
@SpacemanSpiff Yeah i realized the reason, the "add-on" cars wont have the option for the blower and other cosmetic mods. But the "replace" version does.
I completely agree with you they are a little difficult to drive especially in the heat of the moment because they are meant to only go straight very well, imagine a real drag car with 1500-2000+ hp running from cops id shit my self lol and stay only on highways, and yea its mainly difficult to get FULL control of the car in the game without a controller or wheel because yeah pressure sensitive is a huge deal for these cars and if you do use a keyboard its either full power on or off lol only way to compensate is to tap the accelerator quickly OR switch to a higher gear so you can control the power better which works really well, but if you want more immersion just use a controller/wheel. But yes of course no problem and thank you too! I am glad you like it enjoy :)
Change-log 1.3 Organized folder, easier to navigate added read me.
Added optional folder for those who want my full handling mod for all cars and all dlc cars, (all cars done weight, speed, damage, engine damage, breaking) and now for the people who want just the individual handling files just open folder "Individual Handling files" for all the handling codes for each car. WITH NOW >>NEW<< added Drifting vehicles! with RWD/AWD drifting cars that simulates like Formula Drift physics and monsters like the tampa2 the Drift tampa aka the Hoonigan Mustang now you can drive down San Andreas Ken block style, and added 4x4 off roading handling for 1 truck so far the sandking.
Videos to compare with my mod:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lz_IcktOR6U Drag Races & Wheelies
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5qanlirrRWs Gymkhana Seven - Ken Block
Tried to change the handling of a add on car to one of your drag wheelie handling, but when I spawned the add on car the game crashed. Is it not possible to have the drag wheelie handling on a add on car?
@MrSandwiich It must work, check and make sure you put the code properly. You dont need to copy the whole thing what i usually do i just copy from <fMass value all the way down to <nMonetaryValue value
This is a very good mod, but before I rate it, may I ask:
a) do Wheelie Bars effect the angle?
b) can I disable the 'I Feel Energetic' popup?
@LTG Thank you very much :) (a) I know wheelie bars don't work as there suppose too, I am not sure how they effect the car in the game, i know it doesn't change the angle. that's a good question tho i will test the cars with and without wheelie bars to see if they effect the car in anyway. I do plan in future updates if possible to make the wheelie bars actually function like there suppose too and prevent the car from doing wheelies.
(b) The "I Feel Energetic popup" is not part of my mod its not in the download, Its actually a completely separate mod made by sob link is here https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/s-ob-s-realistic-concussions-and-injury-v-1-02 i just had that mod on while i was taking screenshots and making videos.
A Very realistic mod good job just waiting to get a beefy PC and then I will download it but I got one question for what cars does this apply?
cool :)
@Qubu03 Thank you! it apply's for the buccaneer, vigero, dukes, and tampa, you can install the handling mod for each of those cars individually OR you can install my full handling mod that changes the stats of all cars as well! (engine, deformation, collision damage, acceleration, top speed, braking and weight)
@viperv770 ok thx :)
@viperv770 that's original turbo sound or mod??
Change-log 1.4.5 Added new add-on pack for vigero and the dukes that adds visual upgrades (blower, exhaust, wheelie bars, etc)
@Srgnt_Rifki Sorry for long reply. Turbo sound is original no mod, I just swapped their engine sounds from other cars.
@viperv770
Congratulations on this hyper realistic mod, frankly could not be better!
