@ikt Hey I'm here to annoy you with a stupid question. After talking to the author of this mod, https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/true-realistic-driving-v-realistic-mass-v0-1-beta#comment-1606884, it appears there's no way to implement a LSD without either substantial work to both patch how Manual Transmission handles brakes and how GTA V handles braking. What I was wondering is if it would be possible to add a feature like LSDs to Manual Transmission because it is incredibly annoying to be driving a super car with an open diff and because it would be the easiest for you to add yourself given how MT takes over brakes.
@any333 You have me extremely intrigued. I of course know absolutely nothing about modding or how to mod and im sure that compatibility with other mods really can fuck you over especially other mods that are crucial for trying to make driving in this game engaging like the manual mod. But what exactly makes the manual transmission mod not like LSDs or locked diffs? If this mod had the option to switch between locked, limited and open it would be the best driving mod on the site but as you said it would also break one of the biggest mods that makes driving actually enjoyable.
@any333 A substantial improvement as now you can actually take a corner at above 60 and not just spin out. But now all of the cars look like they are slammed but I don't think you can really do anything about that and you left debug balls on btw homie. I really really really hope you continue to work on this mod as it shows fantastic potential given that other handling mods just edit the actual car handling file itself as apposed to improving all cars regardless of if they are a mod or not.
@any333 I mean that when driving over a bump or if the car spends any amount of time in the air it falls back down like it was on the moon. It also feels like you're floating the entire time you're driving because of it.
Hey are cars supposed to act like they have low gravity with this mod installed or would it be because I didn't touch the settings oorrrrr could it be something else interfering with the script?
Nevermind I didn't update the page and didn't see your comment.
