This is a cool concept, love it
@Elivia Thank you! I'm glad you like the concept! If you have any suggestions or features you’d like to see in the future, feel free to share. Your feedback is always welcome!
Good
This is fire! Could u make a mod similar that made a lot of cops patrol the streets I can’t get any of the other patrol mods to work
@JM4NN Thank you for the kind words! I'm actually in the process right now of adding similar functionality to this script, which will include not only patrolling police units but also trash vehicles operating on specific weekdays. It's a work in progress, but I’m excited to share these updates soon. Stay tuned!
@BerkshireMods Bet, Another idea for the police could be to make there dispatch faster so they arrive on scene after shootings for better high speed chases, there’s only mods that make them wait longer.
This is a very good mod ! Do you think that it's possible to create a FiveM version ? (i'm french sorry for my english)
@HydroSky Absolutely I can make a FiveM version.
@JM4NN Thank you for your suggestions!
For police patrols, the only way this can be achieved within this script is by manually setting patrol routes using specific Vector3 coordinates to spawn police vehicles near the player and have them drive to waypoints. This simulates police patrols throughout the city. However, it would be a scripted solution and wouldn’t be as dynamic as editing the game’s core files.
As for faster police dispatch, the same method applies — I can spawn police units near the player when a crime is detected, and they can respond immediately. Again, this would be based on script logic and coordinates, not an automatic response from the game’s dispatch system.
To make changes to how police actually respond in-game (like speeding up their arrival in chases), you would need to modify GTA V’s dispatch.meta file, which directly controls how quickly law enforcement reacts. Unfortunately, this can’t be done within the current script but could be done through game file modifications.
Awesome mod, kinda unrelated question but do you know how the police spawn is handled? like if you're wanted they just spawn infront of you, if you can't change that tho, is it possible to make the police cars not despawn fast (which file you need to edit) like they do in pev.
Cool
@BerkshireMods oh ok thank u, I’ve tried a couple time before messing with the dispatch file but couldn’t find what to change do you know what setting I change in there?
